Programme Titles & CRN Codes
Undergraduate Programmes (Full-time CAO Entry)
The tables below contains gerneral information about undergraduate courses/programmes in the department. The terms course and programme are used interchangeably as are the terms year and stage. Some further definitions:
- MTU Code - This is the internal MTU code for each course/progrmme and is used to identify the overall course/programme.
- Block Code - There is a different block code for each year/stage of a course/programme.
- CAO - This refers to the course/programme code used by the CAO to identifity a course/programme in MTU.
- Class - This is the code used to identify a class group in the Department of Computer Science. Please note that a common first year is in place for all full-time undergraduate students. In September of each year new entrants are randomly assigned to classs groups.
- CRN Codes - This lists the CRNs for all modules in a programme according to the programme year/stage and the delivery semester within a year/stage (e.g. S1 for semester 1, S2 for semester 2)
