  1. When are Autumn repeat results released?

    See here for details: https://www.cit.ie/admissions.registration.repeating

  2. What do I do if I have failed modules in the Autumn repeat or I did not sit the repeat assessment/exam?

For initial information on what repeating entails see here: https://www.cit.ie/admissions.registration.repeating

Please check your registration status regularly over the first few weeks of the semester to ensure you are rolled over correctly - rarely omissions happen that we could not foresee as the student system is complex. If your registration status is not fully accurate by 1st October, please alert computerscienceCork@mtu.ie and we will liaise with admissions.

You should immediately contact your class coordinator to make them aware of your situation - they will be able to provide you with the emails of the lecturing team who you should also contact. Visibility of you on the list for the coordinator will impact both class splits and ensure that lecturers know you should be on the class list and so will spot if you are missing. Class Coordinators are available here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1g6dumTnN5AYqo2A7yA93UnMyrdkBCuXyibQmHKV7tRM/preview

  3. Can I appeal a module result?

Yes, you can appeal one or more module results if you feel there has been an error in the correction process.

Please see here for the appeals process: http://www.mycit.ie/examinations.appeals

You should consult with your module lecturer before appealing to assess where you lost marks. Please note that dissatisfaction or disappointment with the result of an assessment is not grounds for an assessment appeal.
