Vincent Ryan


Vincent completed a BSc in Mathematical Science and an MSc, both in UCC. He was interested in Cryptography, and through that, he began to develop a strong interest in the area of Information Security. Throughout his years in CIT, Vincent has lectured most modules in Computer Science including programming, Operating Systems, Compiler Theory, Analysis of Algorithms, Graph Theory, Computer Hardware, Systems Programming. However, in recent years, most of his lecturing has focused on Information Security, including Network Security, Web App Security, Software Security and Cryptography. Vincent is the programme coordinator of the MSc in Information Security.
